Trimble Outdoors Navigator has a wealth of powerful tools and features at your disposal, making it the premier outdoor navigation app for iPhone and Android.
Two of the features—Active Trip and Guide Trip—could be a source of confusion for some users, so let’s examine them in greater detail.
|An Active Trip|
Once a trip is saved, it will become available for subsequent viewing and use under the Guide Trips or My Trips section of the app.
Guide Trip: Think of a guide trip as an outdoor guide book that you wrote yourself. Any saved trip taken with Trimble Outdoors Navigator can be used, as well as any that are planned on TrimbleOutdoors.com or through our iPad app, Trimble Outdoors MyTopo Maps. In addition, any trip shared by the Trimble Outdoors community or Pro Trip purchased in the app can be use as a Guide Trip.
After clicking on Guide Trip, click open to see a list of all available trips. You'll see the list of all your trips. Select the trip you'd like to use. You're then brought to the Trip Details screen, where you can view the information and examine the map and collected media.

The MAP screen lets you view one active trip and one guide trip at a time.
These are just two of many awesome and powerful navigation and mapping tools at your disposal in the app. Learn more about Trimble Outdoors Navigator here.
